Kellie Clemmer, fondly referred to as "Coach," is currently teaching middle school Physical Education and continues to build the Sports Programs as Athletic Director. She has been granted her certification as Professional in Field by Hillsborough County School District and the LLT Board of Trustees. Kellie has received coaching credentials through the National Alliance for Youth Sports and has completed first aid and concussion training.
With Coach Clemmer's work ethic and passion for her students, she has brought the LLT Falcons from their infancy to a highly competitive level, participating in the Central Florida Charter Athletic League (C.F.C.A.L) and winning several championships. Coach Clemmer also fosters an atmosphere of volunteerism, utilizing alumni, parents, and faculty as coaches, assistants, and drivers. Through Physical Education and the various opportunities in athletics, Coach Clemmer instills sportsmanship and a love for fitness in her students and athletes.
In addition to her responsibilities at LLT, Kellie and her husband Mike own and operate Shaolin-Do Kung Fu and Tai Chi of Brandon. Each hold a 3rd degree black belt. Their children Steven and Kali, both LLT alumni, carry on the family's love for the Martial Arts and sports. Steven (black belt) attends USF and rows for the crew team. Kali (black belt) is also a student athlete running for Mars Hill University's cross country and track teams.
