LLT Academy is led by a talented group of administration and staff.

Mrs. Logan is the co-founder of LLT Academy and the co-author of the charter school’s voluminous charter. She also co-authored a School Grant process from which the school was awarded the top grant from the Florida Department of Education. She also developed the academic and professional development side of the charter. Mrs. Logan approaches education through the eyes of a parent, as well as an educator.
Mrs. Logan has received accolades from the Hillsborough School District for her ability in choosing and overseeing the curricula, assessing student data, and initiating staff development programs all to improve student performance and teacher accountability. These initiatives have enabled LLT Academy to stay among the top charter schools in Florida and made it possible for LLT to be awarded High Performing Charter status from the Florida Department of Education in 2011.
Over a seventeen-year span, Mrs. Logan has been an educator, working with students first through eleventh grade in both private and charter school settings. She has also mentored fellow teachers, helped shape curriculum for different grade levels and served as a liaison between staff and administrators. Her continuing education through seminars, classroom studies, and workshops has kept her up-to-date on the latest learning initiatives. She is certified in “Core Knowledge” and has received awards ranging from parent satisfaction to “golden rule,” standardized test scores, professional ethics, Teacher of the Year, and a nomination for Disney’s Teacher of the Year. Receiving special recognition for achieving greater than 1.4 years of growth in normal curve equivalent for all students is just one way that her instructional excellence is measured.
After being a lead team teacher, wing dean (lesson plan liaison between principal and teachers and overseer of curriculum needs), reading tutor, cheerleading coach, and faculty rep for projects ranging from Junior/Senior Proms to fundraising events, it is easy to see that when it needs to get done, Mrs. Logan is there to lead the way. Mrs. Logan also spent many years in the “business world” and is knowledgeable in the areas necessary to run a business, such as LLT Academy, successfully.
All of these accomplishments have helped to make Mrs. Logan uniquely qualified to administer to the parents and students at LLT Academy. She strives to help each student become a success and understands that it takes more than being an “A” student – it also takes character to achieve the goal. Mrs. Logan says, “Our students need to know they are cared about as a person, not just a number filling a seat – it is much easier to teach a student who is happy about coming to school and is actively engaged in their learning process.”
Mrs. Logan graduated from Nova Southeastern University with honors, is a member of Alpha Chi National College Honor Scholarship Society, Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity, and the Valrico Rotary Club. Mrs. Logan also sits on the executive board of Charter School Leaders-Florida. She lives in Valrico, Florida with her Husband, Bill, a local television personality, daughters Erin and Caitlin - college students, and her pet dog and 3 cats. She likes to read and scrapbook for fun.
